The streets of Sarria become the setting for the Escape Room of the Camino de Santiago called “The Escape Way-Sarria”. A leisure alternative that allows visitors to discover the town through a game of riddles and puzzles and is available every day of the year free of charge.

This initiative, promoted by the City Council of Sarria to join the “club” of Jacobean municipalities with an “Escape Way”, part of the Association of Municipalities of the Camino de Santiago (AMCS) with funding from the Ministry of Culture and Sport, to discover in a different way the Camino de Santiago and attract young people to the European Cultural Itinerary.

To enjoy the experience in Sarria, players can go to the Tourist Office, to the headquarters of the Local Police next to the Town Hall, to the Plaza de Abastos or to the establishment Peregrinoteca, located in Rúa Benigno Quiroga, to pick up their “escapist credential” that contains the necessary data to access the game. The game starts at the Escalinata Maior, at the access to the historic centre and in the middle of the French Way.
