Since 1920 it has been the Casa do Concello (Town Hall). On the main fa\u00e7ade is the stone sculpture of the king Alfonso IX of Le\u00f3n and Galicia. It shows some Romanesque elements and Gothic arches and doors. Erected by the Counts of Sarria, demolished in the &#8220;Revolta Irmandi\u00f1a&#8221; and raised again at the expense of the vassals of the &#8220;Cinco Pobras&#8221;. It stood until 1860. Founded as a hospital and refuge for pilgrims, by two Italian friars. Today it is governed by the Order of Mercy. One of the most representative monuments of Sarria.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<article class=\"vis-poi\">\n<div class=\"vis-poi-media\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/sarriaturismo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/ponte-aspera-jm.jpg\" alt=\"Ponte da \u00c1spera\" loading=\"lazy\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\"><span class=\"vis-num\">10<\/span><span class=\"vis-siglo\">18th c.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"vis-poi-body\">\n<h3>Ponte da \u00c1spera<\/h3>\n<p class=\"vis-poi-desc\">Reconstructed in the 18th century on a bridge of medieval origin.
